The origin of Tres Leches cake is a controversial one, some say it's from Central America, others Mexico- frankly I don't care.

After trying Mexican hot chocolate it became almost impossible to drink any other kind. I use Nestle's Abuelita chocolate which has the perfect amount of sweetness and cocoa. This recipe is perfect for a cold night or rainy day. Salud!

I love potatoes, I love poblano peppers. It's everything you love in a gratin, golden and crisp on top, cheesy inside. I also love that it's a non-conventional way to prepare poblano peppers.

Amo las papas, amo el chile poblano... amo esta mezcla.

I owe this recipe to my lovely mother in law back home in Mexico City. It's the perfect side dish and takes no time.

This is a simple, yet flavorful soup that can be made in under an hour. There is something about springtime that makes me want to cook with Herbs de Provence (which are available in the herbs section of most specialty markets) and this recipe has been in my “must cook” since I found this recipe …

This is a great replacement if you can't find the "Tajin" spice. While Tajin can be found in any Latin supermarket, this recipe will certainly work. The amount I provide will coat about 2 cups of pineapple.

This is an easy and refreshing drink made with just pineapple, water and sugar. There are infinite possibilities for aguas frescas such as tamarind or watermelon. For a fun twist, you can rim your glass with some chile and sugar (see recipe). Adding a splash of vodka never hurt anyone either, salud!
